Where there is sadness, let there be laughter.

Where there is grief, let there be comfort.

Where there is weariness, let there be rest.

Where there is ignorance, let there be knowledge.

Where there is conflict, let there be resolution.

Where there is intolerance, let there be compassion.

Where there is prejudice, let there be respect.

Where there is worry, let there be hope.

Where there is tension, let there be relief.

Where there is dissension, let there be peace.

Where there is weakness, let there be strength.

Where there is hunger, let there be nourishment.

Where there is bondage, let there be freedom.

Where there is fear, let there be courage.

Where there is illness, let there be healing.

Where there is doubt, let there be faith.

Where there is selfishness, let there be altruism.

Where there is wrongdoing, let there be obedience.

Where there is heart-break, let there be forgiveness.

Where there is hatred, let there be love.

Where there is darkness, let there be Jesus—He is the light.
