As I was driving my car, I turned right on a familiar street, drove a few yards, and this is what I saw on the marquis in front of a very special church building:
God’s timing never ceases to amaze me. I admit I am struggling. Many life happenings have occurred lately that have left me emotionally drained. I needed the reminder to get on my knees before God with my struggles and let Him fill me with His love, peace, and comfort.
Heavenly Father, thank you for placing the reminder where you knew I would see it. How I appreciate the people who take the time to put these “mini sermons” in places where others can see them and write them on their hearts today and forever. Please bless them and let them know that their works are noticed and valued. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
