We are to sing songs of thankfulness to the Lord.
“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!”

Submit requests to God with humbleness and thankfulness.
“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

Give thanks for everything.
